Seminars

In keeping with our mission statement, we like to share our knowledge with the pet-owning community. We have seminars prepared on several topics related to pet care, training, behavior, and management. Please contact us by email or telephone if you are interested in attending a seminar on one of these topics, or if you would like us to address your club or group on these or related subjects.

We want to thank everyone who came to our Behavior and Training Open House and Children and Dogs Workshop with Canadian trainer/behaviorist Sue Alexander, CPDT, CDBC. Your participation made these events a success, and we certainly all had a lot of fun! We had such a great response to Sue's workshops that we are already planning to bring her back next year.

Not a seminar, but did you see Amy and the Labs on Animal Planet's "Dogs 101?". You can't really tell, but all of the dogs shown retrieving, running, jumping, and swimming (including the underwater shot) are our trainees. We expect Animal Planet to re-run the episode, so keep an eye out for us!

Some of our available seminars:

New Puppy Orientation
Useful information to smooth those first few weeks with your new family member, and prepare him or her to be a well-behaved adult.

Dog Training Basics
A few essential concepts and tips that can help any family better manage their dog's behavior.

Please call us at 295-6710 (area code 910) if you would be interested in attending a seminar.
