Requirements

Dogs and cats must be current on vaccinations. For pets that have received their vaccinations in North Carolina, a vet bill showing due dates is acceptable documentation or, if you authorize your vet to disclose your pet's record, we will be glad to call to confirm vaccinations. Pets that have been vaccinated in other states must have had all required shots within the past 12 months. Required vaccinations for dogs are rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordetella (kennel cough). Cats must be current on rabies and FVRCP.

Cats must be brought in carriers, not loose or on leashes.

Please tell us at the time you schedule boarding if we will need to administer medication. Prescription medication must be in its original container with the veterinarian's instructions on it and legible. We can vary the dosage and schedule only on the instruction of a veterinarian, so please bring a note from your vet if the dosage has changed, or ask your vet to share that information with us when we call. Thank you for helping us ensure that we administer all medications correctly.

You are responsible for telling us if your pet has a history of fearful or aggressive behavior that bears on our ability to safely care for him or her. If in doubt, please bring your pet for an introduction and evaluation prior to the scheduled stay. We are experienced in handling animals with a wide range of behavior, but we reserve the right to turn away a pet that, in our judgment, we cannot handle and care for safely.

Please call us at 295-6710 (area code 910) to make a reservation or schedule a visit.
