Fucshia
This is the puppy my kids want us to keep, because she is particularly adorable-cuddly and gentle, with an extra-velvety coat. You can see in the group photo that she is the one looking directly and intently at the camera. She also has a distinctive pattern of shading, with more noticeable light patches behind her shoulders and between her toes.

Fucshia swims like a little otter, smoothly and fast. She retrieves eagerly. She is very responsive and usually comes quickly when called. She is an extra cuddly lap puppy. She has a cute way of wrinkling up her face when she is getting attention.

Fucshia expecting a throw
Once or twice I noticed Fucshia acting a bit intimidated by some new and sudden stimulus. This happened around the age of 8 weeks and not since. I don't know if it was the "fear period" described in books or if she's a little more sensitive. On our socialization trips to malls, businesses, parking lots, etc. she's seemed confident and outgoing.
